The advent of automated data collection, case management and case recording technologies has placed new challenges before public child welfare managers and staff. The Academy is preparing new and experienced staff to utilize these automation tools effectively.
The mission of the Academy is to enhance the ability of staff in public social service and child welfare agencies to protect children and to prevent placement whenever possible.
