E. Jane Middleton, D.S.W.

Jane Middleton currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Social Work Education at California State University –Fresno.  She was formerly Professor and Chair of the School of Social Administration at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa.

Jane received her doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her MSW from Temple University, both in Philadelphia.

Jane moved to Fresno in 2000.  Since that time she has been actively involved in the community serving on the Foster Care Oversight and Standards Committee, Fresno Metro Ministries, Majaree Mason Center, and Fresno Citizens for Good Government.  She also serves on the Mental Health Advisory Committee (Dept Mental Health), is the President of the California Chapter of National Association of Social Workers and is the Director of the new Social Welfare Evaluation Research and Training Center at CSU-  Fresno.
