                     Academic Testing Center

**New Test Center located at Family Food Science, Room 210**
An expanded testing center will be piloted in Spring 2008. Participating faculty have the opportunity to schedule their students to take quizzes and midterm exams in the testing center. Faculty teaching totally online courses may also be able to use the testing center for final exams.

Faculty wishing to use the testing center will schedule a 2-5 day window when their students will take the quiz/exam and may continue to hold classes during the window.  It is not possible to schedule an entire class to take the exam at a specific hour.  Faculty will complete the request form (currently the form is only available by request from the Testing Services office) and send it to the Testing Services office (Family/Food Sciences 110, Campus Mail Stop: M/S FF/63, Phone: 278-2457 FAX: 278-3583, email: lindaensch@csufresno.edu).

Faculty will provide the testing center with the requisite number of copies of exams at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled exam (you may wish to provide several iterations of a given exam).  The testing center will provide scantron forms for objective portions of exams.  A scantron key for objective portions of each exam will be submitted by the faculty member with the exams.  Key forms can be obtained from the Testing Services office.  Faculty may provide space on their exams for subjective types of responses or require students to bring Blue Books.  The day following the last day an exam is scheduled, faculty will receive results of the objective portions of scored exams along with an item and whole test analysis.  Results and scores will be available in data files including a Blackboard compatible file.

Any questions or requests for additional information may be directed to Linda Ensch in the Testing Services office.
