TLT’s mission is to expand the opportunities for successful teaching, learning, and scholarly activity through the support of faculty and staff and the creative application of technology.

TLT’s vision is to, through professional development and the appropriate use of technology, help the university become a learning-centered academic environment. Working effectively and efficiently, TLT helps to facilitate student access to higher education, support student learning and engagement, streamline work activities, and enhance the quality of communication.

The goals of TLT are to:

Offer user-centered solutions to challenges of teaching, learning, access to higher education, and scholarly or creative activity.
Assist faculty, staff, and students in the use of technology, focusing on software, smart classrooms, course development, and multimedia.
Produce models and recommend standards to improve quality and efficiency of academic work, especially in the area of instructional uses of technology.
Support the acquisition of external funding, including entrepreneurial activities and the submission of grants.
Help guide and support the implementation of information and academic technology on campus.
