The Centennial Logo
What it symbolizes
The centennial logo was specially designed for printed, Web and electronic representations to be used to identify the university centennial celebration, April 2010 through Summer 2011. When practical, the circular logo should be reproduced in full four-color; a black and white line version is available on request.
Usage guidelines
Like the other official logos and emblems, the centennial logo should never be photocopied or scanned for reproduction. Permission to use the centennial logo may be obtained from the director of University Web Communications and Publications at 278.8595. After approval, high-resolution copies of the centennial logo suitable for printor electronic reproduction may be obtained from University Communications at 278.8595.
The centennial logo should not be reproduced in a size smaller than one inch in diameter so as not to distort the image and render the text unreadable.
Are both the seal and logo appropriate in some cases?
It should be used only in conjunction with any of the other university logos or emblems. The centennial logo may be reproduced at a size larger than the accompanying university logo. Separate the centennial logo and any other university logo by a distance of at least 200 percent of the diameter of the logo. For example, if the logos are sized at 1.25 inches in diameter, there should be at least 2.5 inches between the outer most edges of the two logos or emblems.
