Black Students United

Black Students United is a special interest club at California State University, Fresno. It has been revived to meet the needs of Fresno State’s black students and faculty. BSU, formerly known as Black Student Union, is still a work in progress, so please be patient and work with us as we work for you. Thank you!!!

Black Students United was created to promote cultural awareness of the Fresno State Campus, and its surrounding communities. It is open to all people, of all ethnicities. This club ultimately focuses on informing students, staff, faculty, and the community about the history and everyday issues of African people throughout the Diaspora. We sponsor educational, social and  community activities that allow students to network, have new experiences, and further enjoy college. Overall, just like any other campus club, Black Students United strives to be a part of the rewarding college experience.
