Clubs: Women's Alliance
Women's Alliance's mission is to focus student attention to the problems and accomplishments of women. Also, to give students a wider perspective of women and their potential. We hope to help female and male students to understand that the sex-role stereotypes are eroding and help them become more able to adapt to such changing societal patterns.
Founded in 1980, Women's Alliance has grown from a small group of women with a great idea to more than 50 members in 2001-2002.
Membership is open and inclusive of all supporting social justice with a focus on women's issues. Our membership includes women from all ethnicities, sexualities, nationalities, ages, and sexes.
Our purpose is to promote empowerment, activism, and sisterhood.
