Tutoring Groups
The most valuable resource students can use in the Writing Center is the
group tutorial. Group tutorials are workshops that meet twice a week for
one hour each day. The groups are designed to offer a comfortable environment
in which peers help each other reach their writing goals. These group sessions
consist of three 
students and one peer tutor. Our tutors are experienced
student writers trained to lead student workshops. They are usually English
majors, graduate students, and Teaching Assistants.
