Graduate Studies

Graduate students are a dynamic part of California State University, Fresno. We offer graduate degrees in a great breadth of fields— 47 different graduate degrees, including an educational specialist degree and three doctoral degrees. Programs are offered in the traditional scholarly fields of the arts and humanities and in the sciences. We also offer a number of programs specifically geared for those in professional, practice-oriented careers—everything from education and business to health and the social sciences.

You are encouraged to consider a graduate degree early in your academic career. Many postbaccalaureate programs have early application deadlines, as well as a number of requirements--including possible standardized tests that must be fulfilled. You must also reapply for admission to the university in order to attend classes after you graduate.
